A distinctive French-inspired terracotta planter with a graceful scalloped rim and timeless European garden character.
The Court Pendu planter is part of the ANISE Pottery Collection by Botanical Collections. Its most recognizable feature is the beautifully sculpted open rim, creating a decorative silhouette that sets it apart from traditional terracotta planters.
Hand-thrown by artisans in Honduras using traditional terracotta clay, each planter has subtle variations in color, texture, and finish that reflect its handmade character. The Court Pendu is equally at home filled with flowering plants, herbs, or greenery and brings an elegant Old World quality to patios, conservatories, and garden spaces.

Most spectacular plant pots I’ve ever owned. Friends always comment on them and I’ve ordered not only for myself but as gifts over the years. Each one has been perfectly packaged with fast delivery. Sharon has been great to accommodate my needs.

I really really really wanted to give these a 5-Star review. They are charming, beautiful & whimsical ; Every garden needs that! But I left off a star b/c they are rather lightweight. I’m concerned that they will not withstand variations in weather or even the pressure of root bound plants. I wish they were frost-proof, even tho I have a greenhouse & live in a temperate climate, I have still had more solid containers crack for no reason at all. So, we’ll see.
Was this helpful?Hidden Lake Garden Home1 year agoJeanne, Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're so glad you love the charm, beauty, and whimsy of the Court Pendu planters—they genuinely bring something unique to every garden. I understand your concerns about their lightweight design and durability, and I hope they'll surprise you by standing up well to the elements and plant growth. Your feedback is invaluable, and I always look for ways to improve. I have many of these in my garden and have had good luck with them. However, I bring them up close to the house in the winter, and some, because of the type of plant, I overwinter them in the garage, and they are performing well. I live in Oklahoma, and it is snowing right now!

This is a beautiful pot visually. I love the eyelet shaping at the top. I purchased the largest pot size hoping to use outdoors for bulbs in the spring. However, the pot structure seems very thin and light weight compared to Wakefield or Wolff pottery. I don't know that this would hold up outdoors very well. I would like to order some of the other styles
and will compare in the future.

Thank you for your review of the Court Pendu Pot. I use them for bulbs; however, I overwinter them in my garage and bring them out as soon as it is safe, and I encourage customers to empty them and bring them in for the winter. I hope this is helpful.
