Bergs Potter Copenhagen Planter – Grey & Rosa Clay

A classic Danish planter inspired by a design created for Fredensborg Palace in 1860.

The Copenhagen collection from Bergs Potter traces its design heritage to a planter made for Denmark’s royal Fredensborg Palace in 1860. Production later moved to small Copenhagen potteries, where the distinctive design continued to be made for generations.

Today, Bergs Potter recreates the Copenhagen planter by hand in Tuscany, preserving its traditional scalloped detailing and timeless proportions. Crafted from premium Italian clay and high-fired for strength and durability, the porous material allows plant roots to breathe while helping regulate moisture in the soil.

Over time, the natural clay develops a beautiful patina, giving each planter its own character.

Each planter includes a matching saucer.
